[w8lky] Welcome our New Members and one Renewal

It was a great day for AARC on Saturday 9/21/19. We gained three(3) new members who successfully passed their Technician License exam in the conference room where we meet each month, plus a renewal of a member on the same day.
Our new members include: Kenny Moats who works at SES as an Inspector and he lives in Alliance. Jeremy Toole (SR.) who works as an Terminal Technician for Marathon Petroleum and lives in Alliance. Gwen Snyder who is  a clerk for USPS, She works in the Alliance Post Office and lives in Hartville. Many thanks to Rex (NX8G) and his crew of VE's who administered the testing. Special thanks to Frank (WA8WHP) AARC's training officer for a great job in conducting the Training Classes these past 12 weeks. Special thanks to Chris (AC8VN), John (KD8MQ) and Ron (KE8HCY) for their assistance and class room teaching. We have a couple of more candidates who will eventually get their license in the near future and some of our new members are working on their General licenses.
Shawn (KD8ZEZ) also renewed his membership in AARC, he has a General License and loves DX, contests and was a main stay in our Field Day Projects.
We would like to see several  AARC Members step forward and become a mentor to one of our new members, please contact me if you are interested. I believe a mentoring program for our new members would greatly enhance our Licensing Class process from licensing classes to new licensed radio operator to a confident Ham Operator.   Suggestions  from all club members are always welcome.
